Anyone like his character or think that he added anything to the series? He's in episodes in every season and in the 80s he has a few episodes that revolve around him (Louise Takes A Stand, Charlie's Angels and A Secret in the Back Room). I have read in TV trivia books that George and Tom Willis bought Charlie's bar in the last season, but I've seen most of the last year shows and never saw when this happened. What episode is that or is it an inaccuracy? I noticed that in the later years Charlie had a moustache in some episodes and was clean shaven in others (in the same season). Maybe they figured the audience wasn't paying attention.

I liked Charlie. I do recall the episode where Tom and George buy the bar, but when they do, business goes downhill. I think they sell it to Charlie.

I'm still trying to figure out which episode this is. In Charlie's Angels in year 9 Tom becomes partners with Charlie using an idea from George of having waitresses in skimpy outfits, but Louise and Helen object and go to Mr Whittendale to complain and he orders Charlie to put things back the way they were.

In the Gang's All Here in the last season Louise tends bar at Charlie's and it seems that George owns a stake in the bar at that point. Also I think that is the case in The Truth Hurts where Louise puts on an art show in the bar with an ugly painting of orange horses.
