Does anyone know why the characters played by Belita Moreno and Sam Anderson appeared less and less, starting with the last half of season 5? I realize that by the 7th season, the show focused more on Larry and Balki's lives at home with the girls(dear God), but why did they begin to be phased out before that?

For a while there, Belita Moreno(Lydia) appeared almost as much as Jennifer and Marry Anne, what happened? I'm wondering if the producers possibly decided that the character didn't have as much appeal once she didn't have her sidekick, Harriet, played by Jo Marie Payton-France; or if maybe there were budget cuts, and she made less appearances for that reason.
