This is probably one of the busiest message boards here. There are certainly a lot of people who are very passionate about their shows. I thought I was one of the few, but after visiting these boards, I really enjoy reading what everyone has to say. I am such a TV junkie, and since the TV show on DVD market has expanded, I can't believe how much I have invested in buying all of my favourite TV shows on DVD. I am so glad there are other members out there who I can share my thoughts with.
Kevin.

Agreed. I rarely even buy "movies" any more. I mean why spend nearly $20 for a movie dvd that may be hit or miss when you can own an entire season of something for nearly the same price! Wal Mart had the Big Valley for $20... 1,500 minutes! Or you can take a swing at any random 90 min. movie for the same price.

About this board: I have noticed that it has become VERY popular in the last couple of weeks and honestly I don't even know why I frequent this board so much; I do LOVE the Brady Bunch but I love many more shows MUCH more, there just seems to be a lot to say about this show I guess, it has many different dynamics to it.

Buddy, are you a huge TV fan? What are some of your other shows that you love better than TBB. I like finding someone who loves TV as much as I do. Thanks.

We have some great folks that like to post on the Brady Bunch boards!

This is normally a fairly busy board... activity will increase exponentially whenever a Brady Marathon is run on TV Land, as they did last weekend... folks are still buzzing about that, as you can see.

The Brady Bunch was such a fun show to grow up with, and more and more triva is being discovered all the time...as well as bloopers etc.

It was a fun show with a great cast, and there's always the Jan vs. Marcia debate when things get slow!!

Fave all time shows (in no order): The Andy Griffith Show, The Honeymooners, Columbo, Kung Fu, Leave it to Beaver, Rockford, Star Trek (orig), Tzone (of course), Alias, Planet of the Apes (TV), many more:)

"Buddy, are you a huge TV fan?" It's pretty much my life now. Don't know how it happened, well, maybe the boxsets helped, but I LOVE TV......

Buddy, do you have any of these ones on DVD? You mentioned that you don't buy movies anymore, so I am wondering which TV shows you have bought, or will buy in the future. Any shows that aren't on DVD that you are hoping will be released in the future?

All the ones I listed I have ALL released seasons. I have the complete Brady series, and many more like the Outer Limits, All in the Family (an all time fave), the Munsters, etc. I tend to prefer classic TV (60's and 70's). What I would like to have are; Get Smart, The Addams Family, and Family Ties:)

My friends and I go out shopping for USED boxsets and it's a lot of fun. I have seen the Bradys for $12.99 and I picked up the White Shadow for $9.99! There are deals out there!

I read somewhere (maybe on the Get Smart boards here at sitcomsonline) that Get Smart Season One will be coming out sometime this fall...don't know if that's still the case.

Buddy, I noticed you have a California location. Where do you go to find such great deals as The Brady Bunch for $12.99?? That is a great price (even for used)!

EB Games, GameStop, (both of these are all over, we frequent maybe half dozen of each in various cities; Riverside, Ontario, Fontana) and in Montclair there is a place called "Video Paridisio"/Rhino Records that has MANY sets preowned. For "New" TVD sets our main place is DVD Planet in Rancho Cucamonga, we are there most every Tuesday for "New Release Tuesday" as we call it, then we get lunch:)

It's great FUN! What isn't fun is coming across a preonwed set RIGHT after you bought it full price:(
