I noticed an inside joke while watching "The Babysitters" this weekend on TV Land. Mike wants to make up an excuse to use the pay phone to call home, so he tells Carol something like "Hey! There's Charlie Hoffman!", then he gets up to meet "Charlie", when he sneaks off to use the phone. The story editor that season (2nd) was Charles Hoffman, who was probably known as "Charlie" to his friends. Maybe the scriptwriter wanted to win "Charlie"'s favor. :)
