I loved that album. My parents use to play that every year while we decorated the tree. I could just picture you out at the discoteques getting down when you were younger. lol Sharop 07-25-2006, 11:51 AM I love disco music. I can't name every one, or every artist, but here are some I like: I love all of the Bee Gees' disco music. (Here I feel compelled to point out that the Bee Gees are not just a disco group; they'd been famous for nine years before they made any disco songs.) And The Beat Goes On - The Whispers I like Earth, Wind and Fire's songs - September, Fantasy - and I think they're kind of disco. That's the Way (I Like It) - KC and the Sunshine Band Play That Funky Music - Wild Cherry Dance Dance Dance - Chic Ain't No Stopping Us Now - McFadden and Whitehead Boogie Nights - Heatwave I'm Coming Out - Diana Ross Good Times - Chic There It Is - Shalamar Give Me the Night - George Benson When Smokey Sings - ABC There are loads more. I absolutely love that song! Good taste, JT. Brilliant minds think alike. I actually had some of your picks just miss my top 100 when I compiled it a couple of months ago. But I have to ask you, where's my #2 choice on your list?? You can't tell me you don't love that song!! (Or #1 for that matter) jacktripper1 07-25-2006, 11:10 PM Just about all of it, really. The Bee Gees, KC & The Sunshine Band, etc. My wife loves disco, too. It's her favorite music!! JT 07-26-2006, 12:15 AM Good taste, JT. Brilliant minds think alike. I actually had some of your picks just miss my top 100 when I compiled it a couple of months ago. But I have to ask you, where's my #2 choice on your list?? You can't tell me you don't love that song!! (Or #1 for that matter) Oh, I can't believe I left off #1. I was just dancing my behind off to it on Music Choice a few days ago. That's definitely a fave. I've never heard #2, but my god...everytime I turn on Classic Disco on Music Choice, it's going off and I get annoyed to death because I like the ten or twenty seconds of it that I hear. Classic Disco is just amazing...I try to fit in at least an hour of nonstop dancing to it to keep that heart rate up. A great channel for the well-known disco hits and a lot of the obscure stuff. And I might be rambling on, but I have to say that I've been pretty in to Chic now for a few weeks. I have 3 of their songs on my computer and their style and tone...it's just so laid-back and smooth and I love it. "Good Times" and "I Want Your Love" are just...words cannot say how great they are.
