...to bite your tongue and not say something because you know it'll get you in trouble, or make someone mad, etc?

I'm a loudmouth bitchy sort, so it's very hard. It's like it eats me from the inside.

i usually keep things to myself. but working as a cashier has made it a lot easier to want to fight back with bitchy customers. some of them are SO stupid and drive me nuts.

Hard. There's always something I want to say, but can't.

It can be quite hard for me, but I generally keep what I want to say to myself. There have been times when I've sat there, boiling with anger, wanting to yell out, but I haven't dared to.

I totally sympathize. I worked as a cashier too and there were many times when I just wanted to tell someone off.

In general, I try to keep my mouth shut.

I never bite my toungue. I'll say whatever is on my mind, regardless of who I say it to or what I say. It's kind of like having Tourette's only without the violent outbursts. Actually, I do have violent outbursts but it's pretty rare. I have a temper so sometimes my mouth will get me into trouble.

I hear that. Most of my stupid people are on the phone, so it's a tiny bit easier, but some I still want to ask where their brain is.

I LOVE bitching at people. ESPECIALLY dumbasses. I can hold my tongue some of the time but more often than not, I end up bitching at somebody, usually because they deserve it.

I can usually bite my tongue, as long as a person doesn't cross the line. You cross the line though, and you'll see a side of me that you never knew existed. Iv'e literally made men twice my size run from me, when they crossed the line, so that gives you an idea of what that's like. Just don't push it, and you'll be just fine.

Somewhat difficult. My brain is constantly thinking and thinking that I think of A LOT of stuff in my head that I wouldn't think of or can't properly convey verbally.

It's funny because I find that I can be MUCH more upfront and honest in writing more so than verbally. I think it's the whole anonyminity that plays a bit of a factor.

I have an online friend within my city who I don't really meet up with in person as often as I'd like. He and I have had various written arguments (and even verbally via audio chat), and we have both felt quite comfortable and easier to say what's on our minds more so than we have done in person. I guess it's the whole "hiding behind the computer screen" type of deal. I have told him some downright, vindictive, jealous type of things I wouldn't think of telling him in person.

Plus, there have been other online people and in forums where it seems easier because I normally don't have to respond in real-time and quickly as I would have to in person.

Oh, yeah...and I wanted to also mention that if someone asks me for my opinon for something or asks for advice/suggestions, I will tell them the truth. I don't like to sugarcoat things.

That's me. At work ( I work with idiots ) I want to tell them all that they are lazy, obnoxious, immature moron's. But I don't.

I hate confrontation and will go out of my way to avoid it. If I'm pushed, I usually tell the person how I feel. I'm not a hothead who goes off easily though.

I keep under control most of the time and I don't let things rile me usually. Takes an awful lot to get me to loose it. But when I do my Italian Temper comes out (I'm 1/2 italian so yeah its scary) and aye aye aye God Save the person I lose my temper too.
