Your going out to eat and you must pick one of these three national chains, and only these three.

IHOP
PERKIN"S
DENNY"S

Where do you eat?

I love Perkin's. Great food, great prices, at least on route 18 in East Brunswick. N.J.

IHOP! :liplick: They have the best banana walnut pancakes! (Basically, two banana flavored pancakes, topped with a light banana flavored syrup, walnuts, and banana slices). I love their flavored syrups and jams

I like them all but if I had to choose one it would be PERKIN"S.

PERKINS!!! I never heard of that restaurant before???
But If I had to choose, iHOP...the best and the most delicious pancakes...YUM!:liplick:

I find the food great at Perkin's, and to give you a idea of value. Whole Chicken, dressing. two sides, salad and soup, only $9.95, and sometimes I have a 10 percent off coupon. If not good my wife would never eat there.

Their Pork Chops are pretty good also.

Perkin's. IHOP is good but the one around here is old and dirty and smelly and i've only been to Denny's like once a couple of years ago so i dont really remember it.

Let's see...the one Perkin's I've ever been to wasn't that good - but I didn't especially want to eat there at the time, and that may have negatively influenced my opinion. Never been to IHOP, no intention to start now. Denny's is, well, Denny's.

I guess Perkin's wins by default.

I love Perkins. Unfortunately they don't have one near my hometown!! Whenever we go to Orlando we always go to Perkins!! Sometimes we go two or three times if it is a long trip!! Yummy!!

Alas we usually go to Denny's!!

I've never been to a Perkins, so if I had to pick, I would pick IHOP. Truthfully though I'd have to drive about an hour to get to any of those restaurants, LOL! :p

Perkins. I don't think we even have any Denny's left here. And my mom said last meal she had at IHOP was nasty.

I'm surprised at the number of states that must not have Perkins.

Perkins also has a bakery with pies and whatnot.

The one time I went to Perkins I was not impressed. I like both Denny's and IHOP so I would base my choice on which one has the shortest wait.

Dennys for their Fabulous French Toast Platter (substitute hasbrowns for all the meat) and an Iced Tea.
I loooove Dennys.
And I've never heard of Perkins.

We have gone to Denny's a couple of times and each time we went, the place was dirty and the service was deplorable! We waited over an hour just for a table and they weren't even busy. The food was disgusting. I would rather starve before stepping into any Denny's again. Sad thing is they're not even the worst restaurant chain I've seen. That honer goes to Friendly's.

IHOP is nice. Good service, good food, good atmosphere. Nice place to take the family for Sunday breakfast.

I've never even heard of Perkins.

A long, long time ago when I was a undergrad in college, I spent 3 summers as a counsellor in Pittsfield. Mass. Beautiful area, ther Berkshire hills, the music barn, potting shed, Tangelwood etc. Anyway that year Friendly's opened their first chain in Pittsfield and introduced a drink called the awful, awful. It was a big, the thickest malted you ever saw. A spoon would stand straight up. They had a deal where anyone who could drink 3 of them, got the third free. I never saw anyone even attempt it, as they were so rich and filling. Only once did I ever see anyone even drink two.

Great area, Hinsdale, Lee, Dalton. The camp was camp Potomac and they owned a 9 mile, man made lake. Didn't want to graduate.
