I've heard from several places that GG Season 5 has some cut scenes? When watching my DVD I noticed some scenes were misssing. What is up with the missing scenes? The previous DVD's released were uncut episodes.

Also, any word on when Season 6 will be out?

Pays to read the reviews here first, then make the call. :) Assume if I bought the Gilligan's Island season sets without reading the S.O. DVD reviews first (which I already own the complete set) and later found out some episodes were edited without reading the reviews first, I'd be furious! :mad: It's not easy returning the DVD season sets back to the store where you bought them and exchange for a refund or writing to Warner Home Video and complain some episodes are edited, would they send me a replacement disk? It's so agonizing to do these things just to enjoy a great classic television series in its entirety the way it was meant to be.

The people here at Sitcoms Online (TJ, Seth, Brian, Vashti1999 and many others) do an amazing job reviewing the DVD sets once they receive them ahead of time before the actual street date to the general public and to caution fans whether or not what episodes are edited and which ones are not or if a season set has all edited episodes for that particular season. (Nobody wants that to happen) they check for quality and other things and give opinions whether to by a certain season set of a classic show and have a final say about it.
