I got The New Odd Couple from the Wonders of TV Land. There is a voice over for Sonny and Cher coming on after it. What other things aired on The Wonders of TV Land block?

From the tags I have of it between commercials it sounds like it was just a block on the schedule like better living through television.

It was a 2-hour block of short-lived shows that aired every Saturday and Sunday evening. It came on at 5 or 6pm. The shows they aired changed monthly.

Off the top of my head, I remember them airing:

The Associates
Angie
Buffalo Bill
Best of the West
Day by Day
Duet
The Famous Teddy Z
Working Stiffs
Getting By
Flo
Madame's Place
The Bronx Zoo (one of my favorite shows)
Slap Maxwell Story
Nurse
Powers of Matthew Star
Leg Work (may been part of TV Land Crimestoppers)
Nasty Boys (Crimestoppers as well?)

There were several others that I'm leaving out. TV Land was so good back then. I also taped The New Odd Couple off "Wonders of TV Land" a few times when they were airing it.

I would love more one hit wonders, but the schedule isn't that bad. If they took off the 80's shows and original's I would be happier.

It really does. Since I got them they've pretty much sucked. Any shows that they ran that I would have cared about came during their first few years. No rarities have run since then.

My point is it's still a ONE YEAR WONDER
