I GOT MY SCHEDULE IN THE MAIL TODAY FOR THIS SCHOOL YEAR, I COULDN'T BE MORE MAD!!! :mad: :mad: :mad:

1st Period - Algebra 1b
2nd Period - Spanish 1
3rd Period - Physical Science
4th Period - Biology 1
5th Period - Intensive Reading
6th Period - English 2

I HAVE NO DRAMA, CHORUS, TV PRODUCTION OR ANY OF THOSE FUN ELECTIVES I SIGNED UP FOR!!!! :crying: I have to take two freaking science classes, Intensive Reading (because I failed the reading FCAT's :mad:) and I'm in Algebra 1b when I specifically signed up for Algebra 1!!!

My schedule sucks this year!!!!

What grade are you going to be in? Those classes might be required for you...better to get them out of the way. I'm sure you'll be able to get those fun electives next semester. :)

since I was only at my school for half the year last year, I'm re-taking sophomore year (thank god) so now im two years behind :blush:

Aw, that sucks. :( Well, yeah, you probably do need those classes. So just take it on head first, you'll have time for other classes later. You don't wanna stay in school for another two years just because you didn't earn enough credits. :lol: Good luck though. :)

Algebra 1b is the 2nd class followed after Algebra 1a. Algebra 1a is the first half of Algebra, Algebra 1b is the 2nd half of algebra, students who've taken Algebra 1a and passed with a B or above have the alternate choice to go to Algebra 1b or go straight into Algebra 1

Speaking of those academic required school years, last weekend I noticed some "Back to School" sales at Wal-Mart! Our schools in my city begin around August 10th!

yeah it is ultimately up to the school to make sure you're getting the right credit. all of my classes this year are electives except for english and government.
