I just wondered if there were any shows or songs or things you knew or thought Had subliminal messages?
A subliminal message is where something usually bad is hidden in something good.

The thought of subliminal messages freak the crap out of me.

However, I have heard that Evanescence's "Hello" has a subliminal message. If you play "Hello, I'm still here" backwards it's "It hurts all over" Yeah. It's only a rumor.

I've heard that various Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd songs have 'backwards messages', but I'm not totally positive that's true. There is a website you can go to to listen to some songs backwards and listen to the supposed messages :)

I wish I can create one and put it on a song and send it to people. Would be cool!

In the late 1960s, some people thought there were messages in some of the Beatles songs, regarding the so-called "death" of Paul McCartney.

Those rumors are really interesting to me :) I spent part of my 10th grade year trying to find all the little clues and stuff for my friend's English project...it was fun and just a little creepy ;)

Sometimes, things are intentionally planted in songs, but in reality people can contrive what they want by playing a song backwards.

There's this one that scares the **** out of me. It's Yoko Ono, and if you play it backwards, she says, "I shot John Lennon."

I heard the song backwards, I think its a bit of a stretch.

One that sounds very eerie is the Stairway To Heaven one when he talks about "my sweet satan".

I've heard of songs with rumored subliminal messages, but I've never heard of TV shows with subliminal messages. If anyone has any examples, please post them.

This isn't really an example, but in a book I read, there was a TV show in which subliminal frames had been placed, which made everyone become addicted to the TV show and the main character (a pig) and had everyone go crazy buying merchandise.

It was the third in a series of books about the Demon Headmaster. In the first book, the Demon Headmaster is the Headmaster of a secondary school; he is able to hypnotise people and has plans to take over the world. A group of six kids manage to thwart his plan, and the following books tell of the Demon Headmaster's other attempts to gain power, and the kids' stop him every time. The Demon Headmaster was behind the TV show in question in the third book.

They were a really good series of books. It was made into a TV show as well.
