I heard on the radio the other day that the Seattle SuperSonics (or are they the Sonics now? I've always heard SuperSonics myself.) may leave Seattle for Oklahoma City (where the New Orleans Hornets played this past season after Hurricane Katrina) if they do not get a stadium deal. Is this true? Could "OKC" support a professional franchise?

Of note, the Sonic drive-in chain is based in Oklahoma City.

I think it would be a crappy move, but I'm biased since I'm from the Pacific Northwest. Personally, I think they're doing just fine in Seattle, and believe they will stay. We'll see what happens.

I'm not a huge Sonics fan or anything, but I always hate it when teams move around. I hope they stay in Seattle.

If the Browns can move out of Cleveland, I don't doubt any team would move anywhere anymore. Cleveland fans are pretty loyal. It's sad, I hate it when teams move. It seems to happen all the time now.

I would definatly hate it if my team moved. It would be horrible to be supporting your team and then to just not have them any more. These days they do to much moving around and trading of players.
