No, it's not him. Danny's real name is Louis
--but the birthday and year are the same. Plus, he was born in Massachusettes. Pretty interesting though.

Danny Ponce was born in 1971, I definitely agree that is not him.. He's represented by 'The Flytrap' in downtown Los Angeles.

Danny Ponce was born on the same day as this Carlos guy in 1972 according to imdb.com--even though it's not him. It was Jeremy Licht who was born in 1971.

But I think that this is the guy, I remember Danny Ponce appearing in the Arsenio Hall Show; I was a great fan of the hogan family. but never paid attention to danny's back ground. Thats the first time I noticed an accent in his voice. which resembles the same sound on this guy Carlos Ponce.

If that guy was really Danny Ponce, you would think there would be atleast SOME reference to The Hogan Family - that is after all his definining role (atleast so far).

As far as his birthyear, I have a Hogan Family presskit with official CBS biographies and it lists his birthdate as September 4, 1971 - he was born to Dianne and Luis Ponce in Waltham, MA. The Internet Movie Database while a great resource is user supported so there are lots of errors. I will continue to go by the date listed in his official bio that I have for him.

Danni, if your still out there - maybe you can ask Jeremy for verification?

Just a factoid.. but I noticed on a Danny Ponce website (review of his filmography, etc.) that it's Sept. 4, 1972. So that's the only thing I know of to confirm. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif

I just had dinner with Danny Ponce and he says he was born in 1972, but has never gone by the alias of Carlos. besides, that Carlos guy sounds so gay. But boy oh boy is he a hottie now!!!!!

Carlos Ponce is a Latin-American singing star and actor. He's had countless hit songs throughout Latin-America, including "Rezo", one of my favorites. He's currently starring in the Spanish language novela Sin Pecado Concebido. He's been a singing star in Puerto Rico and throughout Latin America since he was a teen in the late 80s/early 90s. :)

Now that's the Danny Ponce that was in The Hogan Family. That Carlos guy didn't look anything like him.
