When Willona and Florida are in the bedroom talking, Willona tells her that having a family and raising kids was "not her bag." But in the 4th season's "Willona's Surprise," she mentions possibly having a baby with her ex-husband, Ray. Then, she adopts Penny in the 5th season.

first, she was outta her mind to even want to get back with that no good ex-husband, so that tells you right there, she wasn't thinking straight. Secondly, by the time Penny came along, Willona had matured some.

That's right. In my opinion, Willona wasn't a three-dimensional character until Penny came along.

Sometimes a person might say one thing one day and then for whatever reason change their mind.
