The dogs are cute, but oy vay! Mary has sure not aged well!! It's hard to look at!

It is hard to look at. I actually winced when I first saw the picture. Her arms are painfully thin and her pants look like there is nothing in them so I imagine her legs and hips are as thin as her arms. I hope she's o.k.

Actually for being 68 years old and a Type 1 diabetic, I think she looks good. I think we all want to look the way we remember her and its not gonna happen. And remember, pictures are not the most flattering for many people

Aww...those are cute puppies! Mary does look pretty good for being a diabetic and 68. My mom is diabetic and she hasn't been able to walk since November because the bones in her left foot disintegrated. Mary has always been thin, but she does look much thinner than usual.

That's a cute picture of Mary. I do agree though, she does look awfully skinny. That's one of the first things I noticed when I looked at the picture. I hope she's doing well.
