Why is this show in the 80's section rather than the 70's? Unless it has something to do with the episodes that were shot and shown in 1979 being considered as under the "Diff'rent Strokes," title.

It would be kind of pointless to put the series under the category of 1970s, if only the first four episodes were shot during that decade.

Why?

Because almost all of the series took place in the 1980s. When people think of the show, they often don't consider it to be a 1970s show.

Well, let's take this by the numbers: There are a total 209 episodes of The Facts of Life. Four episodes, count 'em, 4 were aired in 1979. The rest of episodes aired between 1980-1988. That said, I think the person who categorized this series as an '80s show got it right, don't you?
