If you mean the government as a whole, no, I don't buy it. But even if 9/11 were an "inside job" (as some claim), chances are it's the work of only one or a handful of government individuals who probably happen to be anti-American.

Certainly there are websites that probably have discussions on it (have you tried to google it? just askin not being sarcastic here) ,but I'm with Kane on this one.. I find it very difficult to give them any credibility.


In my opinion, those looking for 9/11 conspiracies miss the larger more obvious overwhelming abundant evidence of pure government incompetence in that case and so many others.

A friend of mine had me watch this movie online called Loose Change. It deals directly with the possibility of a conspiracy theory behind the attacks on 9/11/01. While I don't buy into all of the stuff they discuss, it's still worth at least one viewing.

well, i am one who believes that it was, if you watch that video loose change, there really is some interesting points made. while you are on google video, also look up Alex Jones, he has made a few documentaries,including one on 9/11 that also might make you think twice.

Maybe I've had a long day but I'm reading a different tone in those comments.

I'm not one to pick a fight with a moderator nor am I trying to be a hero but I may I suggest a little more respect is in order?

After all did you see the board you were posting on? Its the Unsolved Mysteries board, remember that show? Lots of UFO's,Bigfoot,Nessie stories yep that's the one. I think we have a bazillion page debate on DB Cooper going on daily. Perhaps in the light hearted free for all of the sitcoms online community this may come acrossed as a little weird (hence the need for mothership and tinfoil comments) but you should observe we also discusss serious issues here (such as criminal cases involving murder).

I'm not saying this is the Athens city council for rigorous scholarly debate nor am I above light hearted jest, but I think the post was made in sincerity and I certainly take this topic seriously.

My cousin lost her life on that day, and I refuse to remove blame on the REAL perpertrators (Al Queda) to blame someone or something that was innocent (The United States government) It is disrespectful to the memory of my cousin and for the thousands of other lives that were lost on that day.

But the conspiracy theories are not making things any better. Such talk only leads me to believe that the 9/11 conspiracy theorists are angrier at the U.S. government than at Al Qaeda (the actual culprits).

Right....and we didn't really land on the moon, the Jonestwon Massacre was really a government mind control experiment gone awry, the third Reich didn't really disappear - they just relocated to the center of the Earth, the government created AIDS, Mark Chapman was under mind control when he killed John Lennon. The Cooper site got locked down because of me, the crazy woman and Mr. Motto. I hope that my story did not offend anyone - I was just looking for the truth. When one sits back and says a little prayer and hopes for the best - things do happen.

I mentioned a conspiracy factor in my arguments and lo and behold if I am not confronted with a NEW conspiracy that I was not aware of, but I am not allowed to talk about Cooper here.

I do not just believe that the government is behind some of the happenings of the 60's and 70's - I NOW have PROOF. A gentleman in CA. has been working on my behalf and he stumbled into some things regarding another crime which my search also stumbled into. I had not spoke to him of a certain connection, but he came upon it in a different way - but both searches led to the same end. He identified a certain organization that I didn't know anything about, but had reason to research some things that involve individual involve in the other thing....the dots connect.

What ever happened to that episode of The Lone Gunmen that had a robot-piloted airliner being crashed into the World Trade Center building/s? It aired about 6 months or so before 09/11 as I recall.

Yeah, the DNA analysis of the anthrax used in the letter-delivered packs proved to be of probable US government research origin, previously suspected due to the material being of a micro-pulverized *weaponized* size and the individual granules being coated to prevent their deterioration.

Whether some terrorists managed to buy off a government employee with keys to the "unofficial research* toybox [strictly for defensive purposes, of course!] or the distributor put it out knowing that the terrorist scare was the best way to make sure the existance of weapons-grade Anthrax is very much still a matter of national concern remains an open bet. It's even possible that a *third wave* of a hundred or so envelopes would have been the next phase, with one going to the *mad scientist's* ex-wife/girlfriend.

And then there's the investigation into Project Coast, and the interesting suicide of Dr Larry Ford in California....

Today I have learned new information regarding D.B. Cooper AKA Duane L. Weber and for those who are interested I thought you might like to know that after 35 yrs the end is in site. My 11 yrs of searching are paying off.

Duane L. Weber told me 11 days before he died in 1995 that he was Dan Cooper - I didn't have a clue who that was, but 1 yr and 2 months later if would hit me. This put me on a search about Duane's past and in 2000 I went public with the information I had. Now it is 6 yrs later and what I have found will rewrite history.

Duane L. Weber was D.B. Cooper. I did the work for the FBI - all that was missing was putting him in a parachute.

I will not be answering any posts, but I am posting this for those who might be interested.
