Yeah, I think if JP made my husband an offer, I'd probably be on my may to go live in JP Land so I could drive somebody else up the wall --- you know, somewhere I can get some appreee-shee-ay-shon....
:cow: (sorry, I've been wanting to use this cow for so long, and finally the other day I had a reason too, and now I just want to use this cow all the time....JP, can I have a cow? Well, can I bring one on the plane to JP Land? No, I want a real one....Yeah, to keep in the yard...You know, it'll need a sweater and booties...What? You're retracting your offer? Fine. I'll just stay here then, thank you very much...Maaaaaaaaaaaatttttttttt!!!!! Can I have a cow?)
Thanks for bein' the "# 1 man" on both peti-shee-owwns!!

sweetdiggity 07-20-2006, 02:34 PM 372 sigs.!! Not bad for 2 days. :)
Yeah, it's even in the top 5 today! :)
The sigs are comin' in faster than last time.
Note: As some of you know, someone thought it was funny to leave negative, disturbing comments on the petition.
They were pretty busy last night leaving over 50 of them. And starting right up again this morning.
Someone who leaves over 125 stupid, harassing comments in a matter of 2 days, has no life, and no sense.
I know who was responsible and they know where they can go.
Note to moron: I have deleted your comments, and you have been blocked. :p
Go waste someone elses time...

sweetdiggity 07-21-2006, 10:08 AM What's goin' on?
Day 3 comparison:
I looked at the old season 9 petition thread, and after 3 days, we had 88 signatures.
We're on day 3 of the season 10 petition, and there's already over 500!!
We're in the # 1 spot right now, you guys! That's pretty cool. See for yourself! (http://www.ipetitions.com/)
I gotta hand it to all of the fans...:yourock: :king:
Long lost Sarah 07-21-2006, 10:32 AM How dare you!!! Anyone who doesn't LOVE King of Queens really lacks it upstairs! It has everything you could ever want in a comedic sitcom. The writing in my opinion is head and shoulders above anything that Everybody loves Raymond ever put out. I think it's really a shame too that it has not received the recognition that it deserves. It should have won multiple Emmy's for multiple characters. It's about time that at least Kevin James has been recognized. Maybe next year Leah, Jerry, the writing team, and hopefully the show itself will be awarded!!!
jpcanes 07-21-2006, 10:34 AM I see the petition on ''my man," Mitch Daniels, is in the #2 spot. He is the governor of Indiana and not very well liked right now. Glad I got the hell out of that state last year. The :king: of Queens rules!!! Keep addin' those signatures!!! ;)

Someone posted this on Kevin's board, I thought it was funny...
OK, I have signed the petition AND wrote to Kevin at the Culver City address. I tried AND tried, "that's twice that we know of" !!!

Woolworth27 07-26-2006, 10:08 PM Sitcoms today don't go to ten seasons anymore like back in the day like All in the Family, The Jeffersons or Bonanza or Gunsmoke did. The best you can get with these networks is about nine. Look at ELR! It's a push but we will see. We might get lucky!
michellehw 07-27-2006, 10:16 AM lol michelle, u almost had this page of the thread to yourself and what was post #20 about?
Oh, that's what someone on the baord taught me --- see, this is a very educational place!!!!
If you want a Thread to go back to the top of the list (like I'm trying to keep the iPetition at the top of the list so any new peeps coming thru will see if first thing), you post a message "bump," and that puts the thread to the top of the list because it has the latest message posted :bump
michellehw 07-27-2006, 10:18 AM And, voila, back to the top we go....

I can quit smoking, but i can't live without my Heffernans! Dear CBS, if you cancel the Show, you have to send me the money for therapy!!
sweetdiggity 10-12-2006, 01:06 PM It was Michelle's job to bump this thread up, but she seems to have quit.
Here's an update:
We're at 2,531 signatures right now! :king:
energy 11-09-2006, 12:23 PM What other shows have continued after a decision had been made to cancel?
Also, do Kevin and Leah want to do a tenth season?
Personally, I think the show has the potential to come back strong since Leah lost the weight. This is not a lusty guy thing. I just believe the character of Carrie suffered a bit because of the weight.
sweetdiggity 11-09-2006, 12:52 PM What other shows have continued after a decision had been made to cancel?
All I can think of off the top of my head is 7th Heaven.
They actually had a series finale, then continued.
jpcanes 11-09-2006, 01:18 PM Also, do Kevin and Leah want to do a tenth season?
Yes! The person that wanted to start this petition (see 1st post in this thread) was at a taping back in July. She asked Kevin and Leah if it would be alright to start a petition for a 10th season. They both said...yes!!
For more info click here (http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=126565873)
You will find a note from Leah herself and links for the petition and to vote for the KoQ for People's Choice!! Vote everyday if you can!!!!
energy 11-09-2006, 05:55 PM Thanks for the responses to my questions. The fact that the cast wants to continue show is encouraging. I don't see why it can't. Everybody seems like there still at top of their game, even the 79-year-old Jerry Stiller. When you've got this much talent and they still want to do the show, a way has to be found to continue.
Why is this even issue? Have the ratings suffered that much? I wonder if it's a case where the star's salaries go up, and the ratings go down, and Sony's profit margins begin to slide. Thus, they have little incentive to continue the show.
Also, some way should be found to bump this thread regularly so that every newcomer to this board is aware of what's going on with the show. Whenever I come to this board (which isn't that often), I'll try to bump it.
