Well, maybe "enriched" isn't quite the right word, but do you feel that coming here has benefitted you? Has SO "added" something to your life? Has it been a mainly positive part of your life?

I've certainly enjoyed coming here, and reading all the threads. It's such a diverse place. There's something for everyone.

I agree, Sharop. There are a lot of different threads here to participate in, and not just the sitcom threads (I actually spend a lot of my time now on the chit chat board, whereas I used to be on the Three's Company board all the time).

I've also met a lot of cool friends, people that I talk to outside of this board here. I definitely value that the most :)

Well, it's definitely enriched my graphic design portfolio, I'll say THAT much.

Now, as for socially, which I think you meant - I've gained a few friends from the boards, but overall, I think that the boards impact on me/my impact on the boards - from a social aspect is somewhat minimal.

I've made one really good friend on here and a few other friends. I have learned a lot about TV that's for sure. lol

This site is like college for sitcoms. I've learned a lot. Personally, I found this site at a time when there was a lot of upheaval and loss in my life. I withdrew, so this site was perfect. Now that the dust has settled, I still find SO highly enjoyable, with equal parts drama and fun.

I've made a few good friends too, and they know who they are. ;)

I've made a great many friends with whom I "chat" with outside of SO and also, I have had some great debates with certain posters!:D

Yes. I have met very nice people here who have encouraged me to be creative with my posts. I've had lots of fun writing for this site.

I was a big sitcom and television nut before I found this place. I had bought books and read up on a lot of shows so it was nice to find some people that I could discuss all this with. Nobody off-line cares about it. I've made a lot of friends here and I'm so thankful for them. I've also been involved in a lot of drama and sometimes I think I spend to much time online , so their have been down times but overall I've had a good experience here.

Yeah, I could actually ramble on and on about shows here unlike in real life, but I've also met so many wonderful people :mrtarver:

Yes, I can honestly say I pay $21.95 a month to come to this Site. Having a chance to discuss TV Shows and Entertainment News, this place is WONDERFUL

Although I came here searching for Chico. I enjoy the Chit chat boards, the games etc.

I do have a nice life outside the boards but SO has definitley given me more outlook on how younger people think and it teaches me to be a bit more tolerant of others. In a way I think SO has made my life a bit richer. ;) I do like learning new things.

As far as TV is concerned I used to watch much more TV in the past. Now I watch it ocassionally.

Not only have I gained TV knowelge and friends, I have also gotten into Politics here. I really enjoy discussing it and this is really the only place I can do it. I learn so much here about a lot. Not to mention I have gotten plently of shows I have been searching for at the tape trading board. I just got in all 5 episodes of the New Odd Couple Today :D

I've met a LOT of really good friends through here, esp. Leigh Ann. :) It's so nice that there's a place where you can post about your fave TV show/sitcom and actually find other people who love it as much as you do. I think that's my fave thing about SO.

Yes, it really has. I've made a couple very good and truly supportive friends here that I chat with in other forums and places on the internet.

I've learned alot about my favorite shows and it's great to be able to talk about them with other fans.

Well, you do have a life, otherwise you wouldn't be able to post here. :)

I'm sorry you feel that way. What make you think you don't have a life?

I met some good online friends here, however, I spend way too much time here. I wish I had more self control and motivation to do other things, but I don't. Thanks SitcomsOnline

addictions usually do

addictions usually do

Oh, I see what you mean. Yes, an addiction to something can take away from other parts of a person's life.

But as long as the addiction/s are satisfied, then the people who are addicted are generally happy, right?

Me too. Though I don't feel it's hindered my life in any way. I had no life before here and I still don't.

I've come here practically every day for the past 3 years. The only time I haven't is when I was on vacation or my computer broke down. Also I've noticed that when I'm online, this is the website I spend most of my time on. Before I joined I went to a lot of different sites. Some of those I haven't been to in years. I need help.

Yes, SO has really enriched my life. I've met a couple of really good friends here. And I would've never gotten into making websites if it weren't for "meeting" those friends here! I guess it's all because of SO that I plan to have a career in computers, so thanks so much SO!! :)

I've met tons of amazing friends here, ones that I'm close enough with to hang out with off-line if I get the chance. I wonder what my life would be like had I not met them... I don't wanna know.
