I address this to everyone ......we are now in the extremely hot dog days of summer.....we are also 2 weeks away from the start of August and I'm sure many of us are counting the days/hours till we know a little more regarding the much discussed and exciting new Ion Media Network (Pax) program schedule. My guess is the actual shows might not start till August 28. It was a hectic few weeks and we are now in the calm before the storm when we find out exactly what the first shows will be and how they will be handled?....Will most of our dreams become real? Will we actually have a new place to visit old TV friends in the form of a classic independent station like we all grew up with?.... whether it was WSBK (Boston), WKBS (Philadelphia) or WNEW (New York) .....you all can remember the excitement when TV stations were truly independent. What semi disappointments await us like re-created compressed credits?, poor scheduling?, bugs & sound effects zipping across the screen after every break?, Or will our very heavy expectations actually be met?.....I know this is a rambling post but I felt like writing something dramatic.... so c'mon fellow posters, can you feel the excitement building?

They told me within the next week they'll announce it to me. They are not launching Aug. 1 It will be either Aug. 7 or 14 or even after that maybe.

Well if it can not be August 1, 2006 I hope They go for August 7, 2006

No matter what, though it needs to be soon. They cannot much afford to wait with that ridiculous schedule they have now.

i on August 1 drops Bonanza for 2 episodes of On the Cover and Diagnosis Murder for It's A Mirical both bad moves

August 1 is not out yet, TV listings have a generic schedule right now for Aug 1 and beyond for i network. Do not go by that yet because they have not released any part of August to anyone yet.

I felt the exitement building today, leading me to this thread. With "i" and "in2TV"'s changes, this may be the biggest change in programming EVER. Is that about right?
