"The King of Queens" star Leah Remini tells us that even after eight years, she's in no hurry for the long-running sitcom to come to an end, because it allows her to balance work with her home life. "I'm not antsy to move on, because the life of a television person is better than working on long films. We don't give a crap if we go out on top or the very bottom," says the actress, never one to mince words. "Plus, my job enables me to be at home and be with my daughter, Sofia, which is the most important thing for me at this point."
When it does come time for Remini to move on, she says, "I'd like to produce my own stuff -- whether that's a talk show, or something else. I want to be able to control my future. I don't want it to be in the hands of someone else." One thing's for sure, though, "Whatever I do next is going to be with my family around me. I don't want to hire people who don't want to have a good life."
