A potential "mistake" has been found in an episode of The Dukes Of Hazzard. It is found in episode 13- "Double Sting". This is the episode where all the men get quarantined at the jailhouse. Uncle Jesse posts $200 bail for Bo & Luke's release, then says he used the mortgage payment of appropriately $200 dollars also, to get them out & they have to go to the bank & take out what they have left to make the mortgage payment to "Jason Higgins". And if they don't make the payment by midnight to "Jason Higgins" they lose the farm. The point is, is any Dukes' fan knows Boss Hogg is County Commissioner & is always plotting to make the Dukes late on their payments so he can forclose & take their farm. Because in a later episode, the Dukes have to be at the bank by 3:00 to make their payment & Cletus tells the Dukes he was told to hold them up until after 3:00. They make it to the bank & Boss meets them at the door & tries to lock them out. Now, Boss, being County Commissioner, why would he not still be collecting the payments, seeing as he himself has said he runs Hazzard County. And, who is this "Jason Higgins" & why do they need to pay him instead of Boss Hogg????? just curious. I just found this out today BTW.... any takers????

I remember in that episode, Hogg saying that he bought all of Higgin's old mortages.
