"Good Times" J.J Tells Fans He Can see Suicide

Jimmie(J.J) Walker of "Good Times"told a jazz festival audience in Hampton, VA, "This is the First Time I've thought of Suicide. I can see suicide." "We make money, but it's not fun. Our Popularity is not a fun type of popularity. Unfortunately in this society, America, we don't have a thinking society, It's a television society." Walker says he wants out of the CBS-TV series but producer Norman Lear won't let him.

Again with Hampton VA, I got to track down if he was in my hometown in the 70's. Hampton is about an hour and a half from where I live. He was in my town two years ago though.

Oh, Well they can't get too deep into everyone's personally life who was on the show, if they did then it would have been hours long. And plus you have to look at the people who researched their back ground.

I never knew that about Walker. That definitely should've been mentioned.
