an episode dealing with the girls having to "lie" abt Jack and why he is living there with them? The one episode where Janet told her parents that she and Jack were married...WHY? WHY? That is a HUGE lie. If you are going to lie, just say what you tell Mr. Roper or Mr. Furley, that Jack is gay. I mean, either tell them the truth or if you must lie, say he is gay. If it works, then why mess with a good thing???:lol:

I think the writers tried to consider that a little. I think they wanted to do a show with Janet and Jack pretendin' to be married so they threw in the hole thing about Janet's dad was thought to be near death because of his concern for Janet not bein' married. When he found out she was married, he got better. He seems to be fine in the show until he realizes somethin' is goin' wrong with Janet's marriage and then his ulcer acts up.

This is just my hunch, though. Who really knows?

Also, don't forget Janet said her parents wer REALLY old fashioned. If she told them she was livin' with homosexual, you never know how they would react to that.
