I love the shows on TV Land and I would really love it if they brought the old Barney Miller Comedy Series back. I do not know anyone who shows it.
It was a great comedy!

I love that show, This could fit into TV Land......but they would butcher it, the uncut episodes run about 24-25 minutes an episode....

A great example of ensemble casting where the main & title character was the [calm] center of the storm that surrounded him and was really just a reactionary character. It worked!

I remember the show and have the complete first season dvd. Sales must have been slow, I haven't seen any other dvd sets yet.

I really got into Barney Miller a couple of years ago. Fantastic show with talented actors and great writing. It's one of the few shows listed on the Jump The Shark website, that never jumped. Barney Miller went out with its head held high.
