He was born in Jamestown VA which is about an hour and a half from where I live. I also learned he died in Hampton VA which is about two hours away from where I live. I wonder if this means he was ever in Fredericksburg. I mean it is possible, but it would be preety cool if he was. At one point he must have driven by. This is really exciting to me because we have no celebrities at all from here. Lots of historic figures from the Civil War and Revolutionary War but that is about it. Jimmie Walker was in town about three years ago and that was the last big celebrity we had here. Tells you something about Fredericksburg doesn't it. I am going to try to track it down if he was here before.
