Okay, my wife and I own the "Scariest Ghost Stories" box set and I have to admit, there are a few on there that are just plain awful (though one is pretty scary)...

Tarasita Basa: Can't remember what this one is actually called but I think it's a little too improbable that such a thing could realistically happen. Plus, according to most on here, they've played it far too much in syndication.

The one where the three Texas cowboys go in and by a ranch and get scared out of their wits every night. This one is frightening and then at the end Dr. William Rohl like totally debunks the whole thing as all being in their heads and caused by some underground limestone movement...I was like what the...? on this one because it was so scary and so unsettling in its re-enactments. I myself felt cheated, utterly cheated by the end. Totally made me lose respect for Will Rohl, for sure.

General Wayne Inn: I just thought this one was trying to be cute in a bad way. I mean, the TV screen turning sideways? Big deal. Next.

The one with the three cowboys was cheesy. I didn't think it was a ghost at all. It was probably old man Wacker playing a trick on them.

ha! Thank you Beetlejuice69, I got a good chuckle out of that. Yeah i agree, I didn't think the cowboy ghost was that believable either. I can't quite put my finger on what it was, but something about it just made it seem so fake.

The most "********" ghost story I can think of is a more recent one, featured on the DVD set from First Look. It shows the baby having jaundis, but some light comes in, and the jaundis goes away. Then the woman starts getting electrical shocks through her, and the dryer goes haywire for the son. This had to be the low point of the show.

This reminds me of one of the most unbelievable segments that ever aired, although this one was a UFO, or supposed UFO anyway. This lady claims she had a rare, incurable disease. She was lying in bed one night, and said this UFO came in through her window, hoverered around her for a minute or so, and then left. She soon discovered her disease was cured. I thought "pffft, yeah right!" I told this to my sister and she laughed. One of the reasons this is so unbelievable is that this is the only UFO case that I've heard of where the UFO comes indoors.

There are a few good stinkers on there, the texas cowboys looked like they were smoking something to me but the first one that sprang to mind when I read the thread title was the fat guy with his teenage wife. What a joke!
