Hey HD fans, you no what, i believe that happy days was so lucky to stay on the air from the time time ronny and donny left, because i was watching the episode of laverna&shirley the note which was similar to the two part episode of welcome home richie wrere fonzie got so emotional when richie said he was leaving for ca, in the episode the note where laverne was reading shirley good bye note she was kind of said that shirley did not tell her face to face which to me led to the cancelltion of there show, because i feel that when a member or cast leaves a show it kind of messup the chemestry, and i feel that hd has been luck to last all of those years without ronny and donny i believe if ron and don would have stayed the show would have run longer it would have been up there with gunsmoke, bt i must admite the five years without donny and ronny the show did well,

You're right. For such major cast members like them to leave and the show to continue for another four seasons (not five), it was quite an accomplishment.

the shows after ron and don were different than the ones with them but if you watch some of those episodes afterwards with an open mind some were pretty good.some stunk but even when the whole cast was there some of the episodes were so so they weren't all great infact there are some of those latter episodes that are better than some of the so so ones with the whole cast.

I think that it did great when they went off and I am happy that it lasted 4 more seasons. I actually think that some of the later episodes were better when they weren't on there. The First episode that I ever saw of Happy Days was Potsie Quits School and that is in Season 6 I think. Overall, it was the best in the last 3 seasons that Richie and Ralph were on there to me. I think that 5-7 were the best seasons that still had Richie and Ralph. I like the later seasons the best still though.
