Courtesy of the Monkeeland message board (http://p076.ezboard.com/fmonkeelandthegroup.showMessage?topicID=2194.topic). I'll let Andrew Sandoval explain in his own words (just as he posted over at the Hoffman site):

Okay, now that these packages have gone into pressing and everything has been completed, I can tell you what to expect without a doubt. Just an FYI, you guys shouldn't put so much weight on what these mail order places say. Usually the sales sheets are done way in advance of the product being mastered.

Each deluxe edition will feature the full mono and stereo version of the albums newly mastered.
Comes in an eight panel fold out digipak with unpublished photos + a 28 page booklet filled with rare and unpublished photos, as well as newly written liner notes including recent interviews with Don Kirshner and Jeff Barry.

The Monkees Disc One Bonus Tracks:
Theme From The Monkees (same mix as the 1994 CD reissue but with extra chat at the beginning)
The Kind Of Girl I Could Love (previously unissued mix with Micky, Peter and Davy's full backing vocals)
I Don't Think You Know Me (Micky's vocal take freshly remixed in stereo - '94 CD is in mono)
So Goes Love (at original recorded tempo with unheard vocal performances)
Papa Gene's Blues (full stereo remix with original group backing vocals and session chat at the beginning)
I Can't Get Her Off Of My Mind (same version as '94 CD - newly mixed)
Do Not Ask For Love (with Davy singing lead - never before heard - and session chat)
Gonna Buy Me A Dog (Nesmith's unused backing track)
Monkees Radio Spot (featuring all four Monkees chatting away)

Monkees Disc Two Bonus Tracks
Kellogg's Jingle
All The King's Horses (same as ML2 - but newly mixed with chat)
You Just May Be The One (remixed with chat at the beginning)
I Wanna Be Free (ML2 Fast version but with some different vocal performances)
I Don't Think You Know Me (ML1 vers, but remixed)
I Won't Be The Same (Vintage November 1966 mono mix)
Propinquity (early '66 demo Nez acoustic demo)
Theme (The TV version)

More Of Disc 1 Bonus:
Apple Peaches (vintage 1969 stereo mix)
Ladies Aid (vintage September 66 mix - much longer version with different edits than on Present)
I'll Spend My Life (66 vers newly mixed)
I Don't Think You Know Me (Peter's vocal orig November 66 mix)
Through The Looking Glass (66 vers remixed)
Don't Listen To Linda (66 vers remixed)
Kicking Stones (Vintage 1969 stereo mix - runs longer than ML1)
Look Out (Peter's narration version remixed)
I'm A Believer (with rough vocal like on previous More Of CD reissue but with false starts chat and remixed)
Mr. Webster (66 vers remixed)

More Of Disc 2 Bonus:
Valleri (66 vers remixed)
Words (66 vers remixed)
Look Out (long unedited vers remixed with count off)
I'll Be Back (vinatge Nov 66 mono mix)
Tear Drop City (vintage Nov 66 slow mono mix)
Of You (vintage Nov 66 mono mix with double Nez vocals)
Hold On Girl (Boyce & Hart prod vers remixed)
Do No Ask For Love (Mickey's vocal remixed)

FYI This will be my last post for sometime as I am in the middle of many other projects. I look forward to your reactions in mid August. The Monkees catalog will never be perfect sounding - but we tried very hard to make these releases as good as they could be, as well as offer something new..

Lookin' real good! Can't wait to hear how the next 2 reissues are treated! :) :D :p    :happyface :talk:

Now if they can only release the "Pieces...." album in Mono.

I would imagine that's in the works. If these first two sell well, expect the rest of the catalog. I post on a music board and there is a Monkees expert, Andrew Sandoval, who's written a book and is involved with these reissues.

I think they're planning deluxe reissues for most of the Monkees albums, with the exception of Changes and the post-reunion albums. Stay tuned.

According to Rhino Records, Headquarters and Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn & Jones Ltd. are both slated for Deluxe Editions to be released on November 7, 2006. I think that's a tentative date, but it appears the classic albums will be given the deluxe treatment.

BTW, Rhino has a mail order division called Rhino Handmade, which makes limited edition CDs available only through their website. A few years ago, they manufactured a limited edition box set called The Headquarters Sessions. It was three discs and included the original mono mix of the album as well as many alternate takes and unreleased songs from the sessions. It was produced in a very limited quantity and I'm told fetches big bucks on eBay.

Yes Dr. Thong. I have the Headquarters' Sessions box set.

That is a great box set! It really shows how they are in the studio. It also contains the entire album in a Mono Mix.
