That set looks real to me. "Running" is one of my favorite episodes and I was just watching it the other night and admiring the gym clothes. I'd give anything, though, to get my hands on Cindy's sweaty gym clothes!

I find it odd that profiles-in-history is selling Molly Ringwald jersey and Julie Piekarski warm-up jack from the first season and they can't even get the name for the school right (in the auction, they refer to the school as 'Eastman').

In the early stages of the shows pre-production, the school was originally called Eastman, but once the series went into production it was changed to Eastland; probably due to the fact that there was already a school on the east coast called Eastman School of Music in Rochester New York. No doubt the early uniforms bore the name Eastman on the patches and since they were too small to be noticed on screen, they saved time and money by leaving them that way. So, for early episode uniforms to have the name Eastman on the patches is not that odd.

On the Diffrent Strokes pilot episode, it was called Eastlake.
