View Full Version : Don't laugh but when I was a kid I thought the Harlem Globetrotters was the best team TVFactFan 07-13-2006, 01:09 PM ON THE PLANET-lol At the age of 9 I used to say-"I wonder if the Lakers can beat the Harlem Globetrotters"-lol At the age I never knew it was staged and was for comedy purposes, I really thought that they were a unstoppable basketball team. As a kid, I never knew it was staged. Thought they kicked serious ass and never understood why they didn't play some real teams. :lol: The Globetrotters were so much fun to watch, too. Their skills were awesome...I especially liked the bald guy what was his name, Curly? When he and Meadowlark Lemon were no longer on the team, it wasn't the same.
