Yeah she was on for only 2 years, I like her better than the other lady. Last night they showed her her goodbye episode. I actually got a chance to watch it last night.

Wasn't the other lady on Shining Time Station? God I loved that show!

Anyway, I thought Marcy was soft-spoken but not really nervous.
It seemed like she was on the show for more than 2 years!

I wonder why she left, She was very good on that show. I don't remember seeing her in any other 80's tv show. Although I was born in 81, I still don't remember seeing her in anything else

I didn't watch any of those. If it wasn't a comedy in the 80's I didn't watch it. But I did watch Wrestling back then, those were the days lol

I don't know if Marcy was "twittery" (still have to determine the ACTUAL meaning of the word..lol), but she definitely was nosy. Always listening at the door and getting into other people's business. Just like Benson said in one episode, "Everyone has problems, Marcy, why do you have to make them yours?"

Also, I found it funny that my 10-yr-old niece said the same thing about Marcy; "She's always so nosy!!"

All that said though, I really liked her part in the show. :D

I thought Marcy was much much better than Denise. Denise seemed childish to me. Marcy was much more attractive in terms of looks and personality and she actually joked about having boyfriends spend the night.

I always loved Marcy, and was AMAZED by the way they were so easily able to replace her with Denise - really great writing and acting - I was SO prepared to 'hate' Denise it and just never happened - such a careful line/balance this show had at times - you just don't see it anymore. Now gimmie the episodes UNCUT! :)

As a single woman myself, I can relate to Marcy and her men problems. Caroline McWilliams especially did a great job in the episode where she learns her new boyfriend (Benson's old Army buddy) is married. Her quiet shock and then breaking down touched a chord in me, as something similar happened to me a few years back. I wish I could've dumped a dish of goo all over him, like Marcy did. I'd like to see more of Caroline McWilliams' work.

As for Denise - yes, her portayer, Didi Conn, was on Shining Time Station. She also played Frenchy in the two Grease movies.
