The guy came through on match point. Two out, two strikes...but they had runners on 2nd and 3rd when this guy got a hit and killed it. NL didn't come back in the bottom of the 9th. Looking forward to the Padres coming to Shea... D.J. 07-12-2006, 01:23 AM What a game. Now I can rest knowing that if the Yankees reach the World Series, they'll have home field. Thank you Michael Young. TVFactFan 07-12-2006, 08:20 AM Found out this morning that the last time the NL beat the AL was 1996 when the All Star Game was here in Philadelphia. It was close at the end and I knew for sure that they would lose. I went into the kitchen for a couple of mins and all of a sudden they had men on 2nd and 3rd base with two outs. Then I had a feeling that they would win. TVFactFan 07-12-2006, 06:02 PM I'm so glad that AL won. It was close at the end and I knew for sure that they would lose.
