I always wanted to hear the many opinions on the Detroit brawl involving Ron Artest. Do you think he was justified in what he did?

I want to share with you the side from a hypocrit from another forum.

It's called being the bigger man. Ever heard of it? If Ron Artest sits there, the guy is thrown at and is called an idiot. Artest attacks him and he becomes the victim and Artest becomes the idiot. Also you have to think of your team. I am a huge Kings fan and like that Ron is on the team. But to say what he did was right is unbelievable. I guess Jackie Robinson shoulda gone after the fans with all the things they threw at him too. Would he have been in the right? Absolutely... Would he have been thrown in the MLB and been the great story he is today? Nope. Be the BIGGER man.

Smacking someone in the face with a beer on the STREET is COMPLETELY different. It's not even CLOSE. That's not even apples and oranges. That's like electrons and Mount Everest.
