I hate pretty much all of 'em. But, the Big Boy's here wins hands down. It is the same chain of Big Boys as the ones found in the nation, BUT it is not a sit-down restaurant. You can either eat your food in their parking lot or take it home. You cannot walk in and sit down, because the one here does not have room for such a thing.

They have AMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAZING fries, AMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAZING burgers...AMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAZING everything. They have neat names for their menu items. My favorite burger there is their Flying Pizza Burger, which is made up of the hamburger patty, cheese and pizza sauce on top (instead of ketchup), sandwiched between two slices of bread and then toasted. IT IS SO GOOD, IT BLOWS MY MIND. Off the top of my head, they have homemade cinnamon soda, which is actually very tasty. They have Brown Cow and Purple Cow, which is a chocolate ice cream shake and a grape ice cream shake. I do not indulge in sodas anymore but when I used to drink soda, I loved their cinnamon soda. :)

Big Boy's blows McDonald's out of the water, IMO. And VERY exclusive - only 10 states in the US have Big Boy's locations.

Mmmmm, Big Boy's.

Yep, I knew there would be some in Michigan. MI is one of the 10 states with Big Boys.

Oh, and David, they have a handful of Big Boys in CA. Especially southern CA. One in Burbank and one in LA. :) Big Boy was actually founded in Glendale, CA in 1936.

I guess now, my favorite fast food place is McDonalds. I always get the chicken selects.

do pizza places count as fast food? Because theres this great pizza place in shreveport called Johnnys' pizza. They pile the cheese on so thickly. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it! But they don't deliver on base, which pisses me off. My dad has to go get it from the north gate =\

Big Boys, eh? Wow....all those food and drink orders you listed sound VERY delicious. I like trying out new things. It's a shame we don't have one. At least - I don't think so. I can check, but maybe sometime in the future we can get one. Or, is it regional like east-coast only?

Like I said, there are only 10 states in the US that have Big Boy's franchises. They are the following:

Arizona
California
Florida
Hawaii
Illinois
Michigan
Nevada
North Carolina
North Dakota
Ohio

So they're pretty scattered around the US...not in any specific region at all.

What I really like about the Big Boy's here is that everything they make is freshly-made. In the 15+ years I've been going to the Big Boy's here, I've never gotten a cold burger or cold batch of fries from them. Nope. They've always been freshly made, so the food is still piping hot when you get 'em here.

I looked up some photos.
There were quite a few Big Boy's out here. The closest one was only 1 and 1/2 miles away. And there was a "Bob's Jr." at the mall.
Now there are only two left- one in Burbank and one in Glendale.

but when I do decide to have some fast food, usually McDonalds kids meal, and a small fry. They are soo fattening, and I don't want to ruin my figure.

Sonic defintely. Unfortunately we don't have one here(we did where I used to live). :( I think I prefer Burger King over McDonald's. I like their burgers and fries better and that's about all I ever eat when I go there. The Hardees here shut down, but it was only busy for Breakfast anyway.

Chick-Fil-A is good too(but we don't have one here either, this town sucks  ). For Pizza, defintely Pizza Hut(I don't consider it "fast" since you have to wait 15-20 minutes at least).

My favorite is not a burger joint, but I LOVE Popeye's. Love that chicken from Popeye's. Also, their biscuits melt in your mouth, you don't even need any butter or honey on them.

I also like Taco Bell. Alot to pick from and it's rather cheap.

I'm a BIG fan of Burger King (Mcdonalds tastes very blah to me and I can take or leave Wendy's). Unfortunately, a lot of BKs are closing in my area :( I do miss their whoppers, onion rings, fries, chicken sandwiches, etc. Good stuff there.

Other places I love: Long John Silvers (mm, chicken strips and hush puppies  ), Taco Bell (I just love their supreme tacos and nachos), and Subway (the fast food place I go to most often).

I WILL NEVER EAT AT JACK IN THE BOX.

Back in early 1992, they had a major E. Coli outbreak in their meat supply. Infecting over 500 people and killing more than 200 of them. They were closed down for a bit after that until they opened up again.

There are only 8 left in NJ, but I would have to say Roy Rogers.

Anytime I pass the one on the Parkway south on the way to LBI or anywhere that far down, I stop at the rest stop that has Roys.

Hadn't though about it, but I'll be heading that way in a few weeks.

They've been airing commercials for Popeye's around here QUITE frequently- like every other commercial break or so. We don't even HAVE a Popeye's here! Ditto for Sonic- nearest Sonic location is in Fargo or Grand Forks, I think. That's waaaaay on the eastern end of the state, and I live nowhere near either one of these cities.

You know, they do the SAME thing here for Sonic. I see all these commercials advertising their food (which looks really good, by the way! I want to try it!) but I have NEVER seen a Sonic on Long Island. Weird.

Up this way, it seems like they're trying to close a lot of them down.I remember back in high school, it was the hot place, but now, not a whole lot of people talk about it, they make good pizza, in my personal opinion, so hopefully, they stay afloat.:)

I grew up on Little Caesar's, as well. I loved the commercials, with the animated caveman guy and his pizzas on a spear. When I was growing up, there was a Little Caesar's franchise right next door to the grocery store, and we would order pizza from 'em all the time. Then, maybe 10 or so years ago, that franchise closed, and an independent bank moved into its place. :( Now the only place I see Little Caesar's anymore is in Kmarts, and I haven't shopped at a Kmart since 2003. Too bad, because I really liked their pizza. Now I don't remember what it tastes like.

On the rare occasion that I order out for pizza, I get it from Papa John's. I REALLY wish they would open a Pizza Ranch (http://www.pizzaranch.com/indexsw.php) franchise HERE in my city. They apparently have one in the next town from me (I didn't know!), but it would take roughly 15 minutes to drive there. Man, Pizza Ranch pizza is AMAZING. And VERY all over the Upper Midwest.
