I'm 16 and am going to be 17 in June and I'm 5"4. I'm short for my age since in psychology class last semester we were doing averages and the average height in my psych class was 5"6. I don't mind being short though. One time when I went to a garage sale someone thought I was 14 and I just felt like laughing because they guessed my age wrong. My height doesn't really bother me at all.

my mothers afraid to let me go anywhere else. i got mine dne the 1st time there/ its better, they pierce ur ears with 16 gauge, so u dont have to bother with stretching them (not that its even hard to get a 16 gauge in). I have 14's in my first hole but i had to go from 20 gauge to 14 because they tol me just to let the holes shrink. i was 10 and stoopid.

#'s= lower the #, thicker the gauge. if u have an eering holder, 16 gaude is about the size of the holes, 14 is bigger. 20 is the normal size. 00 or 000 is what jack osbourne has... thats why u can see throo his ears... lol.

I am 5'1", which is short for my age of 20. Hell, it's short for the age of 12. I stopped growing at about that age, but I was always shorter than my peers. In Kindergarten, the other kids would pick me up because I was so tiny. It doesn't bother me. I can fit into my 1963 MG Midget a bit better than you normal height folks. :D

I am 18 years old and I'm only 5ft2. That is short for my age. I am very short. I got carded when I went to take my ACT. That really peed me off. They thought I was a little to young to be taking the ACT. I wish I was 5ft6. But I have stopped growing.

I'm the craziest cat (or KAT) in the world. I was 4'11 (OMG, it was a nightmare for me) until I was 15 1/2. I am 19 now, and am 5'4. I just measured myself today, which means I have grown 2 inches since my 18th birthday.

I hope to push out a couple more inches before I'm done. Genetics tells me that will happen. (My mom did the same thing.) I'm crossing my fingers. So far, I grew over 5 inches AFTER age 15. It's rare, but it does happen!

I'm 5'10", and since I don't have a pic posted here yet, I'll thow in medium build, hair that used to be brown, but is now pretty much black with individual gray hairs sprinkled here and there, and hazel eyes.

Actually, I don't see why everyone thinks that's short. (Well, I guess I do too, because I'm that but want to be taller.) I read that is the average height for girls. Just a few weeks ago on one of those news/entertainment shows (it may have been Access Hollywood), they said that 5'3 was average for a girl. Now, I think that's a little short! I've also heard 5'5 is average, so who knows?

I read a long time ago that we grow in height until age 22. I don't know if that's accurate information, but I'm sure I read it.

I've read the same thing from several books before. So when I hear about doctors telling people otherwise (such as myself) I think they're pretty much a quack.

Same here. I probably grew though.

5'10" - have been since I was 17. Interestingly I had an x-ray taken a while back and when I saw it I cuoldn't believe the hanus curve of me spine(scoleosus). So I'm thinking if it didn't bend the way it does I might have been 6'. Just a thought.:)

Makes me think of when I got measured for my learner's. I'm actually only about 5'4 or 5'5, but they put me down as 5'6. I was wearing high tops the day I was measured, so maybe that could've been why. Maybe I just appear taller than I am. I'm not sure. Come to think of it, I'm not really sure how tall I am. I'll have to get measured the next time I go for a licence renewal.

I posted about myself, 5 5 all of my adult life, and with hip replacement, lost 2 inches from the surgery and body structure chage, now I'm about 5 3 or so...liked my 5 5 structure much more.......
The surgery left me with a MESS....
