Pavan 07-08-2006, 12:21 AM Alan Hamel is a strange person. Greedy, too.

I agree.

I'm surprised that him and suzanne didn't breakup after he got her from Three's Company
Janice 07-08-2006, 12:57 AM Suzanne was Hamel's meal ticket. Still is, from what I can see. Greedy is the perfect word to desribe him, and Suzanne too, for that matter. They didn't ruin Three's Company, but the show was never as good without Chrissy, in my opinion.
I Love John Ritter 07-08-2006, 02:55 AM Yeah, I agree. What was he thinking? Chrissy leaves the show and then Suzanne comes back at the end to play Jack's fiancee...how would that make sense?

I think the quality of episodes were as good still...maybe even better. The ratings were still strong. Even in the last season it didn't do too bad, it still was ABC's top show on Tuesday nights that year.
PrettyinPink55 07-08-2006, 11:27 AM Some of my favorite Three's Company episodes are post-Chrissy.

On Tuesday nights, but how did the show do overall in its final season?
It's all a matter of opinion. I love the Chrissy years. The time spent on Cindy to me were a complete joke. That clumsy bumbling routine grew real old, real fast. Terri was good, but to me, it was too little, too late. Nothing to do with ratings, just my opinion.

It went from #8 I believe in season seven to #31 I think in season 8. Which is not horrible. It was still getting a 15 rating or so...which these days would make it a number one show, lol. Shows like Happy Days and others were worse.
Seasons 7 and 8 had some hilarious episodes. Out on a Limb was very good. Cousin Cuisine is flat out hilarious. Jack's Tattoo was always a fan favorite.

Being Greedy is wanting more money, asking for 10% ownership of the show means he was HIGH when trying to negotiate which is why I think he was addicted to cocaine-lol
Ireneparalegal 07-08-2006, 03:21 PM Don't forget...he was a married man when he and Suzanne were seeing each other...i believe she even aborted their baby while they were having their "affair"...not much of a man he is.
