View Full Version : The Woman Who Talked To Animals, And The Woman Who Solves Murders DazzlerSparkler 07-07-2006, 06:21 PM What happened to these two? Do they still continue their practices to this day? Mr. Fuji 07-07-2006, 09:17 PM What happened to these two? Do they still continue their practices to this day? Could you be a bit more specific? There are a lot of cases that fit this description. angel25 07-07-2006, 09:30 PM Are you talking about that one were the lady was phsycic or something, and she found a woman nurse that had been murdered and thrown over a cliff, and the phsycic lady got viewed as a suspect because she knew were the nurse who had been murdered body was? That one is on one of the dvd sets right? LooksLikeCRicci 07-08-2006, 12:03 AM If you are referring to the episode that aired today, then yes, it's the psychic who helped solve the murder of a young nurse but who was considered a suspect and actually held in jail for 4 days. I think her name was Ellie? greatgarrett2 07-08-2006, 12:20 AM What happened to these two? Do they still continue their practices to this day? The woman who talked to animals you are referring to I believe is Sonya Fitzpatrick. She (Sonya) was on one of the Prime episodes, not to long ago. She was like a real-life Dr. Doolittle in that she claims she knew how the animals were feeling and what they were saying, apparently. She apparently correctly diagnosed a horse that had a foreign object stuck in it's head......and, belive it or not, she has her own personal webpage: http://www.sonyafitzpatrick.com/ Check it out, it should be informative and what you're looking for. If it's Sonya you mean. As for the other psychic, I think you might be thinking of Dorothy Allison. I could be wrong, tho. Her case is on the 'Psychics' Box Set and I believe you can pick it up for pretty cheap on-line or at some general merchandise, big-box retailers. Dorothy Allison left us a few years ago at the age of 79, the age she predicted she would. I couldn't find any info on Dorothy, if that's who you mean. Hope that helps. :) Cheers, greatgarrett2 DazzlerSparkler 07-12-2006, 04:06 PM I'm sorry I wasn't specific, yes I meant the "Elle" woman. She solved the murder of a young nurse. Kane 07-13-2006, 04:08 PM If you are referring to the episode that aired today, then yes, it's the psychic who helped solve the murder of a young nurse but who was considered a suspect and actually held in jail for 4 days. I think her name was Ellie? That would be Etta Smith. The CourtTV show Psychic Detectives did an episode about her and the murdered nurse. LooksLikeCRicci 07-13-2006, 11:36 PM Etta! That was it. Thanks, Kane. Either you have an extensive database to back you up, or just an incredible memory... or is it both? ;) Kane 07-14-2006, 10:10 AM Etta! That was it. Thanks, Kane. Either you have an extensive database to back you up, or just an incredible memory... or is it both? ;) You're welcome. And thanks for asking. :) In response to your inquiry, I would say that the Etta Smith case stands out among the many UM segments about psychis. And that has to do with the fact that Etta's psychic vision of Melanie Uribe (the murdered nurse) made her a suspect in the case. But two factors helped improve my memory of the case: 1) I have the UM Psychics DVD set, which includes the segment. 2) As I mentioned earlier, the case was also featured in an episode of the CourtTV show Psychic Detectives. (The name of the episode, by the way, is "A Psychic Roadmap"). |
