I mean why would she still be needed if there was no more Lionel? I mean she was Lionel's girlfriend so if there was no more Lionel there shouldn't have been no more Jenny. Agree?

I think she should have been on, she was still the Willis' daughter and served a purpose in that capacity.

I liked her. Maybe they should've said she had a divorce or something and let Jenny go out with new guys. I never did care for the 2nd Lionel.

Actually after the 2nd Lionel got fired and before Mike Evans came back she was only in 2 or 3 episodes. I remember her having pretty good rapport with Jay Hammer in his first episode so she did bring something to the show in a way, although I certainly didn't miss her when she wasn't in it. The divorce storyline towards the end of the series was done precisely to keep the door open for her to make occassional appearances, although I would've had a hard time seeing her with a new boyfriend and can't imagine her bringing him around the Jeffersons' apartment. When she was on by herself in years 8 and 9 it was like OK so she still exists but without Lionel she really served no purpose.

But you know the show took place mainly in the Jeffersons Apt and if there was no more Lionel what reason would she have had to be inside the Jeffersons Apt?

If the purpose of Jenny was to give Lionel a girlfriend, then yes. If she was put on the show to give the Willis' a child, then they never should have gotten rid of her, and NEVER brought in Allan.

Well I don't think the purpose was to give the Willises a Child because then the show would have been called the Willises-lol So Jenny should have been gone without explanation like Allan Willis

She probably was still under contract to the show and they had to keep her through season 5, since actors on tv usually sign 5 year contracts. She's probably very happy Mike Evans was allowed to return for season 6 otherwise she would've been fired.

Yeah that's probably why she was around in 78-79
