I am having a dispute resolution on Ebay from a buyer of one of my items. She bought it, but never got it so she filed a complaint.I couldn't insure it or track it (it was sent to Australia)At first, I offered a refund. It turns out that the 90 days passed and never heard from her again.I hear from her yesterday asking for her money back. Ebay tells me that I'm not entitled to refund her money because the dispute has been closed. Now, I want to tell her that I would've gladly done it ect within the time frame BUT since the issue is now closed I won't. (Does that sounds harsh?)
Here's some of what I wrote:
Hi ---:
I received an email from Ebay saying that the time frame has passed (90 days) and that the dispute has been closed. I contacted them and was told that after that time frame I am not obligated to make a refund.I would've had no problem refunding during the time frame of the dispute but think that after it has expired I thought that you had declined to pursue it further....
