This may be another inacuracy, we know there were many, but the part where the show first takes off, they show Suzanne doing an ad, Joyce doing her Leggs pantyhose ad, then John is posing in front of the ocean. My question is, did John really do an ad for something where he was posing in the ocean like that, or was it just in the movie?

That's my feeling as well, since I've never seen any proof to back it up, but I could be wrong, wouldn't be the first time, LOL! :p
