View Full Version : Dating Question for the Ladies
lilhave 07-05-2006, 06:35 AM You make a date with this guy, he's not your concept of Prince Charming but he's a good guy and can provide pleasant company. You make plans to go to the movies on saturday night to see a movie he is looking forward to. Comes thursday, a guy you have been hoping will ask you out, does, and it's for saturday. Do you say " sorry I have other plans but I would love to go out with you", or cancel with the first guy and give some sort of excuse?.

everett552 07-05-2006, 02:11 PM Um........ sounds like you're stuck between a rock and a hard place. I'll say keep your date with the first person and make arrangements to meet with the other person another day. If Ms.Cutie is really interested in you like that then they should understand. 1, it 's just a date and 2, you're just trying to get to know more about them anyway and 3, you're not committed to either one of them.
I was in a situation like that where I had made plans with two guys for the same night and it turned out to be a disaster. The first guy I met was through a mutual friend. Though he was nice, sweet, smart, intelligent, and fun to be around, I just wasn't into him. But anyway, after the first successful date, we made plans to go out again. The second guy who I had my eye on for months finally calls me out of the blue, only after I stopped calling him and asked me to go out with him on the same night and of course I said yes.
Anyway, Saturday morning rolls around and I cancel my date with the 1st guy with an excuse of being sick (I had a few days to practice). He seemed really understanding about it and wished me a full recovery. Now, me and Mr. Fine A-- goes out and the date was not all that. I guess since I wasn't putting out, he decided to bring me home early, SOB . The next day, the 1st guy calls to let me know he stopped by to check up on me with some flowers, candy, a card and a can of Chicken noodle soup. I was so excited about Mr. Fine A--, I forgot to let my aunt know the real deal before I left the house . Sure enough guy #1 leaves the candy, card, flowers and chicken noodle soup but I never heard from him again after that night:rolleyes: nor did I ever hear from Mr. Fine A-- either:lol: .
But some bit of advice, if you really want to see what the first person is about , go ahead with the date, you never know what may come out of it. Good Luck!

Don't feel to bad, I picked the flowers, the soup was only broth and the candy was left over from Halloween. As you can see I'm a big spender.
