The entire episode, all he did was nag Ann and the girls. If he wasn't nagging them, he was going after Schneider.

Did Ann put him in his place at the end of the ep?

I wouldn't say she put him in his place, but they came to an understanding.

I guess that is why they killed off that character. Maybe the audience tired of his constant whinning too. lol

Actually, Danny Aiello was Madonna's father, at least in the "Poppa don't preach" video. ;)

Ann's father wasn't that bad. I guess I feel that way because I have relatives like that in my family and I just deal with it and love them anyway. If Barbara was my Granddaughter I'd be concerned to if she was going out with a boy that Ann hadn't met yet seeing that Barbara was only fifteen at the time. And he was not nagging the entire episode, and at the end it was good when he told his daughter why he misses her and the girls so much.

He might have whined a bit but he was just a concerned grandfather and father.
