ABC told Gary Marshall that they were dying on Thursday Nights and wanted to put L&S on Thursday Nights because it was a top 5 Show but Gary said He didn't want the Network to bust up his shows because they flowed well together. So Gary said instead of busting up his shows how bout if he comes up with another show. So gary started looking for a unique type of performer would just blow everyone out. So he came across Robin Williams who was a last minute replacement on the Mork and Mindy Pilot which was the Happy Days episode. So when the Network saw that Episode titled-"My Favorite Orkan", they were not that impressed and was going to put Mork and Mindys on Monday Nights. Then Gary Marshall did the One Hour Special of Mork and Mindy featuring Henry winkler and Penny Marshall and then the Nertwork liked that ep much better and said-"Let's put it on Thursday Nights" So u learn something new everyday because I never knew that episode of Happy Days with Robin williams was a pitch to the Network for another sitcom.

Yeah, That's where Mork & Mindy was spun off from, Happy Days. Mork was also in another episode of HD, too.

I wasn't saying that Mork and Mindy was a Happy Days Spinoff, I was stating what led to the decision to create Mork and Mindy. Mostly everyone knows M&M is a spinoff of Happy Days
