Here you go:

So you think that you've got trouble.
Well trouble's a bubble.
So tell old mister trouble to get lost.

Why not hold your head up high and
Stop cryin', start tryin'.
And don't forget to keep your fingers crossed.

When you find the joy of living
Is loving and giving,
You'll be there when the winning dice are tossed.

A smile is just a frown that's turned upside-down.
So smile and that frown'll get lost,
And don't forget to keep your fingers crossed.

don't forget the other words to it that N@N had on that promo for the show back about 10 years ago that someone would sing while the "living room" opening was being shown:

Di-i-ick Va-a-an Dyke is Robert Petrie
who comes in
hugs Laura
and then he turns and trips over that thing

But sometimes he doesn't do it
cause they changed it
instead he skirts it with a nifty step (they then showed the word "nifty" with an arrow pointing to his feet)

And there's yet another version
where he misses it
entirely
but then he trips over the ru-u-u-g.

And then Rob and Buddy and Sally shake hands
and the episode title comes u-u-up.

A-a-a-nd notice Rob shakes hands with Buddy again (they then put a circle around their hands)

AND THAT'S IT!

...typical Morey Amsterdam lyrics. How he cut himself into Earle Hagen's theme as "co-writer", I don't know. He wrote a lot of "special material" and popular songs [including "Rum and Coca-Cola"], but he knew the kind of songs he wrote best...the comedy ones, like "Yuk-A-Puk" (yes, he really did write and record that one- it became part of "Buddy's" repertoire as well).

I believe the one who wrote the "special lyrics" for Dick's theme on 'Nick at Nite' in their mid-'90s promos, was the same one who also "wrote" new lyrics for "THE BOB NEWHART SHOW"'s theme (and was Bob's biggest fan at Nick)
for those promos, too!!
