This thread is dedicated to thanking other members her at S.O., our parents, a sibling, animals, police officers, grandparents, or anyone else who has ever done something for you, that left some kind of positive lasting impression on you. It can be someone who defended you when everyone else ganged up on you, someone who said something to you that touched your heart, someone who bought you something, or just whatever act of charity someone has done for you. This isn't meant to be a popularity thread, that's why I'm pointing out that you can thank anyone, not just members. I don't want anyone's feelings hurt. Anyway, I'll start:

The person I would like to thank first, is S.O.'s own Janice!!! A few weeks ago, she did something sweet, and bought me a cd that was really special to her. Unfortunately, it got lost in the mail, but she contacted amazon.com, and they sent me out another one. :) Janice has said and done so many nice things for me over the years, and has been the most loyal friend a person could ever dream of having, but that was just one of the more recent nice things she's done for me that I would like to share with you all. So, I just want to say thank you Janice, I love the cd, and I appreciate you doing that for me!!! :D

Now it's your guys' turn. Who do you want to thank?? And remember, it doesn't necessarily have to be an SOe'r, it can be anyone who's made an impact on your life, in one way or another.

Yes, I do want to say (THANK YOU) to a member of this board, and that is you, Brad; thanks for being such a wonderful friend and helping me feel a lot better about a situation (I was) having a while back; it really meant a lot, and you are such a generous and beautiful person (that I think highly of)..I wish you all the happiness in the world, my friend:). I also want to say (THANK YOU) to both Kate and Sonny; these two are my favorite people online!!! THANK YOU, for forgiving me for my (STUPID) antics a year (or so) ago.. I love you and I also wish you nothing but beauty and happiness in life, because the two of you are such beautiful people as well...:) :bighug:

Awww, thank you so much Tara :) As I told you before, I'm there for you anytime you need a friend, or someone to talk to. You've been praying for me, my mom, and you've helped me through many difficult times with your kind words, and just being there for me, so the way I see it, Me doing the same for you is just what friends do for each other!!! Awww thank you so much Tara. You have always been one of my closest and dearest friends and you are one of the nicest people I've ever met. I want to thank you too. I did a lot of stupid and awful things back then too and I want to thank you so much for forgiving me. I wish you all the happiness in the world because you sure deserve it. thank you Niki (Girl Meets World) for being a great friend, always talking to me when i'm feeling bad, making me feel better, and always having nice something to say. you're a very special person and i'm really happy that you are still my friend, even after all the stupid things i have said in the past. you were one of my first friends here, and definitely one of my closest. thanks again, i really appreciate it! :) :bighug:

also, thanks Joe for everything. you were one of my first friends here. yeah, you remind me of myself in a lot of ways too. also if it wasn't for you, i wouldn't have met someone who became one of my closest friends online, even though we don't talk now (Makayla can thank you for that too :) ) but yeah, i'm sorry for that huge fight we got into a year or so ago, it's good to know we're still friends. and thanks for being able to tolerate Makayla, she's hard to tolerate sometimes :lol: i'm glad you two are friends.

and thanks to all my other close friends here :)

I want to thank my Dr, Mr Guilleux, for giving me a vitamin B-12 shot last week. Iv'e been feeling good ever since getting it, and I know it'll help my nerves for my brother's wedding coming up, in less than a week now, and a bunch of other scary things coming up. Thanks Dr. G!! YOU DA MAN!!! :D

Like I said, with God, and a good group of people to talk to, I believe we can make it through anything. Tara... I don't even know what to say. You don't have to thank me, honest. :) Through all that we went through last year, through all that we've been through period, you're one of my favorite people as well. You know I've done some really stupid stuff, to say the least. I acted like a jackass, but you forgave me and with all sincerity, I want you to know that it means so much. TF and LYnn : Without you guys, I wouldnt come to random everyday, and well ALL of oyu, but you two keep the thread going and even when im on dial up liek i am now and have to read 17 pages or more ( like after I went swimmign today), youre still cool.

All in all, I'd like to thank the posters on SO, for making SO a good place to log on to. In general there is a tolerance for difference of opinion here, as well as genuine care for each other. On SO, I'd like to especially thank Irene, Marlene, Michelle and Mike for communicating with me and making me feel welcome.

Outside of SO, thank yous to Jim, Dave, Nancy, Vic and Anne--my Friday morning breakfast buddies and co-workers who help make life tolerable.

Also to other co-workers: Kathy, Brenda, Keith, John and Virginia who are always available. We can dump our problems on each other.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Jesus for all that He has done for me. I first became a Christian 8 years ago, and my life was a mess. Iv'e had hot spells with my Faith, cold spells, lukewarm spells, you name it, Iv'e had it, but despite that, You were with me every step of the way. I prayed and prayed and prayed for things that I knew weren't humanly possible, and at times I had doubts, and even thought you weren't going to answer them, but in time, You answered every one of them, and I am now in a better place in my life than Iv'e probably ever been. People have tried to discourage me by mocking me as well as You, telling me that You are not real, but everytime they did, You gave me a sign that showed me that You were beyond a shadow of a doubt very real. Why would I believe them, when my life was miserable before accepting You, yet as soon as I accepted You, my life became better than it had ever been before??? I'd have to be a fool to believe them and go back to my old life!!! The miracles You've done, and continue to do for me and my family are astonishing, and I just want to thank You from the very depths of my heart. You have proven to me time and time again that You are who You say You are, and have never given me any reason to doubt that. My promise to You Lord, is that I'll never ever let anyone make me think otherwise. Me denying that You are who You say You are, would be like denying that you need food and water to live, it just wouldn't make sense. So once again, I Thank You Lord Jesus, and I Love You from the bottom of my heart!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In Your Holy name I pray, AMEN, and AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!! :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)
