I Do not think that elizabeth taylor was the most beautiful woman in the world, I think Lucille Ball was, in her younger years not many woman could compete with Lucy and even in her middle aged years she was still so beautiful, i wonder if desi ever knew how lucky he was to have a woman like that madly in love with him, even when they made her up as a common house wife in I Love Lucy she was still more beutiful than your common house wife of the time.

...that Elizabeth was about 20 years YOUNGER than Lucy, and I believe there WAS some resentment on Lucy's part that Liz got more of the attention the week she appeared on "HERE'S LUCY" in 1970. After all, Ms. Taylor didn't have to rely on the "cosmetic tricks" that made Lucy appear "younger" than she really was. If you stood next to Lucy during that period, you would have seen the "age" on her face. Not so with Liz.

I mean when Lucy was in her younger years, and I still think when lucy was the age that liz was in that episode that lucy was still the most attractive, This of course is my opinion, and you should understand that just because liz was given the title of most beautiful woman in the world doesnt mean that everyone agreed, liz was beautiful I will admit that, Its just at the same age that lucy was a little more beautiful.

I think Maryjane Croft who played Lucy's friend Maryjane was actually better looking than Lucy was on The Lucy Show and Here's Lucy.
