Dr. Thong 07-02-2006, 09:20 PM WELCOME TO THE SIRIUS WORLD!!!!!! I'm an XM man myself and I absolutely love satellite radio. I don't even bother with "terrestrial" radio anymore. What's the point?? My only gripe is that XM did away with channel 51, musiclab (prog rock), but other than that, I love it! This past Saturday my boyfriend and I had the day to ourselves and decided to take a drive somewhere. DAMN!!!! freakin' free radio!!! he doesn't have satellite radio in his car (we should have taken my car!)...I WAS SO PISSED TRYING TO FIND STATIONS THAT WEREN'T TALKING, LONG COMMERCIALS, BLAH BLAH BLAH...God, i was channel surfing to the point i just said FORGET IT and popped in an already overheard CD. God, I hate regular radio. With free radio you get static, if you drive far you lose your fave home stations, etc. With satellite, well, you know how excellent it is!!!!! passionsfan79 07-03-2006, 01:09 PM Exactly why Sirius Radio is the best :) I get it $50.00 on sale at radioshack :) Dr. Thong 07-04-2006, 10:17 AM Oh God, i love satellite radio. No annoying DJs, no "be the tenth caller and you win $100!", no repetition of the same tracks over and over. Yeah, once you've had satellite, you can't go back to "terrestrial" radio. I pre-bought three years' worth of service for $10 a month and it's a much better value than cable TV, which is vastly overpriced. Yes, I used to balk at paying for radio, but as evidenced by what Irene said, you get what you pay for.;) passionsfan79 07-04-2006, 02:33 PM Sirius radio. Where do I plug it in on the back of my radio here at home? I have those kinds where you have to turn it button to find the station. I just got mine yesterday and trying to figuring it out. Any help would be appeciated |
