Part 1 of Shotgun Wedding was a Happy Days ep and Part 2 of Shotgun Wedding was a Laverne and Shirley Episode

I've been watching Happy Days on TV Land for at least three years, and I know for a fact they haven't aired it during that span.

Recorded Shotgun Wedding Part 1 from TV Land sometime in early 2003. And Right after that on the Tape follows The Laverne and Shirley ep which is Shotgun Part 2. Not sure where the L&S ep is from but it'sd not from TV LAND. I see I recorded over the syndicated ending of Shotgun Part 1 since I knew I had the Part 2 that followed

There ya go. I started watching and recording the show from TV Land probably in June or July of 2003. I can't understand why they would continue to skip it each and every cycle of the show for the past three years.

Yeah the only reason I know it was early 2003 was because I had stopped watching Happy Days on TV LAND by the summer of 2003. I was able to get all the HD crossovers off TV LAND in that time period which is why they are all together on the Same Tape

I wish I had WGN. I'd make another set of Happy Days so I'd have one from each channel.

The HD part of "Shotgun Wedding" was the first episode of the seventh season - so the wait's even longer. I've been trying to get TVLTheLink over at the TV Land boards to get the programming department to show it this time.

I recorded the Laverne & Shirley part when the original Lifetime was airing it. I just need TV Land to air the HD part, and I'll be all set. I have a copy of the episode, but whomever I got it from made horrible cuts to the commercials.

That and more. The beginning and end credits are cut off, and I think, at least, the beginning of each act is cut off because of what you said. I think I'll wait and see if TV Land airs it this time around. If they don't, I might take you up on your offer if your copy has absolutely zero missing show footage. Thanks for offering.

if it is being taped off of WGN, TVLand or Lifetime, it will definately be edited anyone know which has the better version? - assuming TVLand ever shows it again?

anyways, i got it this time, just transfered the WGN ep of HD and the LifetimeRealWomen version of L&S to DVD, digitally edited out commercials with clean, full cuts so I am happy :)

..and coincidentally NBC aired the 1982 Saturday Night Live hosted by Ron Howard on Sunday morning, so I put that on there too :)

For now, I'm content with the crappy copy I have. I'd like to upgrade, but I'm in no real hurry. If I didn't have it at all, then it would be a different story.

Also, since TV Land only airs the show five days a week instead of seven, I figure "Shotgun Wedding" would air on December 21 provided the schedule stays the same and they don't skip any other episodes. It's going to be a long wait, indeed.

Nick At Nite had a thing called "Instant Gratification Sunday" several years ago in which they would show two part episodes back to back. They showed the HD/L&S "Shotgun Wedding" back to back. I taped it and still have it. Lucky me.

I personally didn't mind the syndicated ending on the HD episode. Richie ran into Howard who was fishing and was franticly yelling about how he needed to help Fonzie. Then he runs off into the woods. Then Fonzie appears and tells Mr. C that he escaped, no problem and that he'll find Richie and let him know. So Howard goes back to his fishing. This isn't a problem for me. What I like to think is that Fonzie decided to let Richie be the hero and went back to the farm to wait for his return. This explains how he's still there in the L&S episode. So the tacked on resolution in the HD part still makes sense as far as I'm concerned.
