My all time biggest local newscaster crush was Leah Hope, who unfortunately left Portland in 1997, to work for the ABC affilate in Chicago. I remember this on-going joke she had with the weather man and sports guy, about the movie Romeo & Juliet, which always use to make me laugh. She apparantely really loved the film, while they absolutely hated it, and they would always tease her about it. :lol: I miss Leah!! She was the best newscaster Portland has ever had as far as I'm concerned!! Her last show here 9 years ago was a very sad day indeed. :( Here are a couple pictures of her. Yeah, unfortunately I think it's that way pretty much everywhere, regardless of where you're from. News on the radio is a totally different story though. Alot of average, and not so attractive people there.

This girl used to be the weekend anchor on the same channel as those two ^^, and when the main anchor (who is now in Minneapolis) left, she was hoping to get the job, but they gave it to Stacey instead and this woman (Erin) went to a rival station (which sucks all kinds of ass imo). I hate Stacey and I hate Channel 13 too much to watch Erin.

1. Alison Adair - mainly, she covers sports but she will also cover the news occasionally. By the way, Cathy, she's from West Des Moines. :cool:

Channel 11 (CBS):
2. Hutch Johnson - this is a bad picture of him. He is the chief meteorologist, so obviously, he covers the weather.

3. Marci Narum - this is also a bad picture of her. She is the main anchor for the 5pm news.

I went to a taping of the 5pm news once for my video production class, so I've met Marci. She is SO much prettier in person, and she is also incredibly tall!
